Lemon Lime Chrysoprase

Lemon Lime Chrysoprase is a striking variety of chrysoprase with vibrant shades of yellow-green through to vivid lime. 

Unlike many green gemstones that owe their colour to chromium or iron, chrysoprase gets its distinctive hue from traces of nickel within the stone. 

Australia is home to some of the world's finest chrysoprase deposits, with much of the highest-quality material sourced from Queensland and Western Australia. Australian Lemon Lime Chrysoprase is renowned for its rich colour and natural patterns.

As a member of the chalcedony family, Lemon Lime Chrysoprase has a smooth, waxy lustre and a hardness of around 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale.
