This pendant is hand shaped from Chrysoprase with Lemon Chrysoprase, a nickel-rich variety of magnesite found primarily in the serpentinised ultramafic rocks of Western Australia. It has opaque-to-translucent lemon-lime hues, and subtle iron oxide inclusions and dendritic veining.
Each side of the stone reveals different patterns, from cloudy pale zones to spider-webbing mineral inclusions. The polished finish softens natural pits and surface variations without concealing them.
Hand-shaped into a long, tapered marquise form the pendant measures 120mm in length.
